Checkout and Payment

When your offer is accepted—or you use Buy Now—the item is added to your cart. From there:

Receive confirmation and track your order in My Orders

OfferLane also uses a payment timer: you have a limited window to complete payment after a sale ends. This helps keep items moving and prevents stock from being locked up indefinitely.

Orders and Fulfillment

Your My Orders area shows all your orders (paid and unpaid), including:

Order status (Pending, Paid, Expired, Cancelled)

Fulfillment status (Pending, Ready, Completed, Cancelled)

Item details and totals

Store contact information and pickup/shipping details

This gives you one place to track everything end-to-end.

Strikes and Responsible Buying

OfferLane is designed to be fair to both buyers and sellers. If a buyer repeatedly fails to pay for accepted offers, the platform applies a strike system to protect the integrity of sales.

In simple terms:

Pay for what you commit to

Only make offers you intend to complete

Don’t wait until the last minute—use the payment timer as your guide

If your account reaches certain strike thresholds, you may need to complete additional verification steps before making further offers.

FICA Verification (Only When Required)

FICA verification is only required in specific cases tied to the strike system. If required, you’ll be guided to upload an acceptable ID document and track the status (Pending, Approved, Rejected) from your FICA page.

This is a safety and compliance measure designed to keep the platform trustworthy.
